Yes, an additional driver can be added to the Rental Agreement, free of charge. However, our office must be informed at the time of the rental (or online) and documents such as passport and a valid driving license must be submitted.
Yes. A Security Deposit is required at the time of handing over the car. Security deposits range from 1000 AED – 5000 AED depending on car class and model. Please see below details:

Economy Cars –> SECURITY DEPOSIT = 1000 AED
Premium Cars –> SECURITY DEPOSIT = 1500 AED
Luxury Cars –> SECURITY DEPOSIT = 2000 – 5000 AED

For credit card deposit, the blocked amount is automatically released after 15 days from the start of your rental. Cash deposits are refunded 30 days after returning the car.

Most parking is paid parking in the UAE. Parking along the roadside and most public areas is designated with parking meters (usually orange color) located nearby all parking lots. After you pay coins or notes, a parking ticket will be issued from the machine and dropped into the glass box below. Then you must place the parking ticket inside your car (on the top of your car’s dashboard) where it is visible to the RTA Police officer.

Every hour usually costs 2 AED. On Fridays, it’s free to park in public parking lots maintained by RTA Dubai. However, it’s best to refer to the information on the orange parking meters to know the rules, timings and other details.

Our vehicles should always be check by our experienced agents during check out, however oversights can happen. For Access Rent A Car’s Terms & Conditions, it is the responsibility of the renter to inspect the car for damage before leaving the hand-over site. If damage is discovered, return to hand-over site and notify us of the damage.
No. Driving in the desert and off-road use is a violation of the Rental Agreement and is not allowed.
Yes. We do allow Oman cross border rentals (economy cars only), on request. Prior approval is required from our office with a 48 hours notice. Request must be received during office working hours. Please submit your request by email to info@acs.wp4u.tech.ae
Yes. We do delivery and pick up of vehicle upon request and charges may apply. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
Most roads in the UAE are radar controlled. Please adhere to the speed limits which are clearly highlighted on road signs. Always remember to pay for parking in both public and private paid parking areas. Any traffic fine incurred during the rental period is the sole responsibility of the renter.
Yes. But GPS depends on its availability even if you booked online they are not guaranteed.

BOOKINGS

Yes. Although our standard fleet isn’t reservable by specific make and model, we do take such enquiries by phone only. However, since we offer each customer this same flexibility, please understand that we can’t guarantee that the specific make or model you choose will always be available.
At the end of the reservation process, you will find your booking details and booking confirmation number. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail containing the invoice and details of your booking.
Access allows you to modify or cancel your booking after it is confirmed provided that you notify us through e-mail with your booking number 48 hours prior to rental time.
To retrieve the information, an e-mail has been sent to your inbox.
Yes, we accept payments during the hand-over, which is at the time you pick up your car. Both cash and credit card payments are acceptable. Please prepare the full rental amount before you collect your vehicle.
Yes. You can check the rates and the vehicle availability without making a reservation. Go to ‘Our Cars’ in the home page of Access Rent A Car website. Choose a specific car and click ‘more details’ where you’ll see a more detailed view of the vehicle and the rate.
Off-hours charge is applicable for pick up and drop off out of opening hours. A charge of 100 AED is applied for bookings between 8:30 PM to 9:30 AM (pick up and drop off) from Sunday to Friday as well as for bookings made during Fridays.

DURING RENTAL

The Rental Agreement is the formal contract signed by Access Rent A Car’s representative and the renter at the time of hand-over which shows the terms of rental, the vehicle details, and the rate applied.
In event of a lost key, please contact Access immediately to receive a spare key. Additional charge will apply, as the lost key is not covered by our insurance.
Fuel charges will apply for cars returned with less fuel than what was at the time of check-out. Please note that we do not refund for unused fuel.
All Access cars should be filled with “special” grade petrol.
All rentals are charged based on a 24 hour billing period. If the rental exceeds a cycle of 24 hours, an additional day charge applies.

Access provides all its customers an hour grace period from the time the car was picked up which is shown on your rental agreement. Charges will be incurred if the return time is to fall outside that hour grace period.

Yes. Most of our cars have mileage restrictions of 400km per day, 350km per week, and 6000km per month. (Mileage limit for each car varies depending on the car class and model, please refer to car details).
Excess kilometers charge for compact cars is @ 0.5 AED/km
Excess kilometers for luxury and other cars is @ 1 AED/km
Yes. We have minimum of 2 days rental.

AFTER RENTAL

Yes, you can get a copy of your invoice. You have the option to print it directly online or you can check it in your e-mail inbox.
Your total rental rate is calculated based on the information provided at time of booking. Total rate will include any extras you select during the booking process.
No. Leaving the car in the airport is illegal. There will be a 1000 AED fine. In case you have emergency, please notify Access so we can arrange for pick up.

BREAKDOWN / ACCIDENT

If you experience any mechanical or damage issue with your car during your rental period, please contact Access Rent A Car Roadside Assistance Team at 052-3559279 or 055-4703669.
In the unfortunate event of your car being involved in an accident, please note that the vehicle should not be moved from the point of the accident or damage, except in the case where the damage is minor and the vehicle is causing an obstruction to the traffic. You will then call the police 999, and remain with the vehicle in order to obtain a police report to be submitted to Access Rent a Car, so that an insurance claim can be made. Please notify us of the incident and we will facilitate any replacement car if required.
No, our cars cannot be repaired by renters. Access has its own authorized repair facilities.

INSURANCE COVERAGE

All cars at Access come with free comprehensive insurance. Meaning, this type of insurance has protection coverage for Third-Party damage, Theft Protection, and Personal Injury. If the car’s bodywork is damaged during your rental, the most you will pay is the excess damage charge.
Insurance Excess charge is the maximum amount you must pay in the unfortunate event of an accident or damage claim; whereas your coverage does not include the Collision Damage Waiver. The excess charge may be waivered by purchasing the CDW during your time of booking.
No, any damage to the glass and or tires is the responsibility of the renter. Access does not offer any additional coverage to cover these items, nor does the Collision Damage Waiver/Full Insurance include coverage for these items.
CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) is an insurance coverage plan that is offered as “optional” coverage for your rental. It relieves any or part of the renter’s responsibility for loss of or damage to the rental car, provided a police report is presented to Access Rent a Car. Certain exclusion may apply. Please see our Terms & Conditions for further details.

WEBSITE

The online reservation service is located on a secure server that guarantees the safety of a transaction. The system uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encrypting technology. All communications between your computer and our server are encrypted so the information cannot be intercepted.

VALUE ADDED TAX

Yes, tourists are a significant source of revenue for the UAE and must pay VAT at the point of sale.
VAT, as a general consumption tax, will apply to the majority of transactions of goods and services unless specifically exempted by law. VAT has a standard rate of 5%.
VAT is a consumer-based tax on the supply of both goods and services. VAT is payable on consumer goods and services by everyone.

PAYMENT METHODS

No, if payment is done online. Otherwise, a 3% additional service charge is applied for payments made during hand-over.
Rental fees and other charges can be paid either online by debit/credit card or by cash upon hand-over.
Any extras chosen at the time of your booking, Toll Gate and Traffic Fines if applicable. And other charges applied during the check-in process.
